My name is Derek Yang, and I’m a high school senior from New York with a passion for the outdoors. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball at the park and spending time with friends and family. I'm eager to become a Water Challenge Ambassador to contribute to raising environmental awareness, particularly in water conservation. My passion for this cause grew during an internship at a conservation center, where I developed an interest in marine research and data collection techniques. As part of EarthEcho, I look forward to meeting like-minded individuals who share my commitment to making a positive impact on our planet and growing alongside them in my journey to protect our water resources.
