Kayla Peng is a junior at the Kent Place School in Summit, New Jersey. Kayla is passionate about expanding environmental education and taking legislative action against climate change. In her free time, Kayla likes to listen to music, bake, and write. Her experience growing up in a highly polluted city in China before moving to the United States piqued her interest in climate change. With this in mind, she started ecoedu.org and is looking forward to further educating her community as an EarthEcho US Water Challenge Ambassador. In this role, she hopes to engage local youth in protecting the Raritan River and other waterbodies.
