Hello! My name is Tejas Basneth and I am from Lexington Kentucky. My journey in Environmental Advocacy began when doing An Environmental Engineering Research Project about creating Sodium Alginate Encapsulation Modules for water conservation in agricultural settings and further pursue my interests by joining the Central Kentucky Youth Sustainability Council. Some of my hobbies include Marching Band (I play Trombone), Central Kentucky Youth Orchestra ( I play Bass Trombone), Piano, Reading, Watching Movies, and being involved in my community any way I can. I want to become a Water Challenge Ambassador because it aligns with my passion for sustainability, leadership experience, and commitment to solving environmental challenges especially in water pollution and improving the quality of water.
