As we wrap up the 2019 EarthEcho Water Challenge monitoring season, we want to send a huge thank you to all of our Water Challenge participants, sponsors, and partners who are working every day to address the global water crisis by capturing critical data on the quality of local water bodies and taking direct action to improve watershed health.
With the 2019 monitoring season coming to a close this month, we want to remind all EarthEcho Water Challenge participants to report any remaining water quality data through our EarthEcho Water Challenge database. Sharing these findings is an important part of this citizen science program.
By logging your water quality data, you are joining over 1.5 million participants from 146 countries who have participated in the Water Challenge – collecting and sharing data on their local water quality while taking action to improve the health of their local waterways. When entering your data, you can also share photos and stories of any action you and your fellow Water Challenge participants have taken beyond monitoring to improve watershed health. We also encourage you to share highlights from your work on social media using hashtag #MonitorWater and tagging @earthecho.
