On March 22, World Water Day, I had the great opportunity to participate in the event organized by EarthEcho, together with Xylem and the Guardiola Sala Foundation, held at CosmoCaixa.

Without a doubt, it has been one of the best experiences I have ever had, because I was able to meet Patrick Decker, CEO of Xylem, Philippe Cousteau, founder of EarthEcho, and Pep Guardiola, founder of the Guardiola Sala Foundation, but also the colleagues with whom I was able to share and enjoy this event, the learning acquired and the entire team that was behind it to make this event possible.

It far exceeded any expectations I had. All of us Ambassadors had been preparing our activities for some time so that the schools that were going to be part of the event could enjoy them to the fullest and learn and become even more aware of local water problems. The result could not have been better, not only did the students and teachers learn, the Ambassadors deepened the knowledge we already had on the chosen topic. In my case, I learned curiosities about marine biodiversity.

If I had to stay with something in particular, it would be the interview I was able to do with Patrick Decker and Pep Guardiola, due to the fact that I learned more about the reason why they decided to create their foundations, what motivated them to do so, the complications that arose throughout the process and what future plans they have.

If an event like this were to be held again, I would love to be able to participate again, since I have really enjoyed the role as a Ambassador, the fact of preparing and organizing activities and, above all, team work. They are all incredible Ambassadors and before concluding, I would like to thank them, for being wonderful people and for the effort, desire and dedication they put into making the result unbeatable, and also to EarthEcho, for this opportunity.

El día 22 de marzo, Día Mundial del Agua, tuve la gran oportunidad de participar en el evento que organizó EarthEcho, juntamente con Xylem y la Fundación Guardiola Sala, realizada en el CosmoCaixa.

Sin lugar a duda, ha sido una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido, no solo porque pude conocer a Patrick Decker, CEO de Xylem, Philippe Cousteau, fundador de EarthEcho, y a Pep Guardiola, fundador de la Fundación Guardiola Sala, sino también por los compañeros con quién pude compartir y disfrutar de este evento, el aprendizaje adquirido y todo el equipo que estuvo detrás para hacer posible estea contecimiento.

Superó con creces todas las expectativas que tenía. Todos los embajadores llevábamos tiempo preparando nuestras actividades para que las escuelas que iban a formar parte del evento las pudieran disfrutar al máximo y aprendieran y se concienciaran aún más sobre la problemática del agua. El resultado no podría haber sido mejor, ya que no solamente aprendió el alumnado y el profesorado, los embajadores profundizamos los conocimientos que ya teníamos sobre la temática elegida. En mi caso, aprendí curiosidades sobre la biodiversidad marina.

Si me tuviera que quedar con algo en particular, sería la entrevista que les pude hacer a Patrick Decker y a Pep Guardiola, por el hecho de que conocí más a fondo el motivo de por qué decidieron crear sus fundaciones, lo que les motivo a hacerlo, las complicaciones que les fueron surgiendo a lo largo del proceso y qué planes de futuro tienen.

Si se volviera a realizar un evento como este, me encantaría poder participar de nuevo, puesto que he disfrutado mucho el rol como embajadora, el hecho de preparar y organizar actividades y, sobre todo, el trabajo en equipo. Todos son unos embajadores increíbles y antes de finalizar, me gustaría darles las gracias a ellos, por ser unas personas maravillosas y por el esfuerzo, ganas y dedicación que pusieron para lograr que el resultado fuera inmejorable, y también, a EarthEcho, por esta oportunidad.
